I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also… 1Cor 14.15

I set out to add a verse of scripture to each line of each hymn in the 1973 Little Flock Hymn book.

Then I wanted to set all the tunes which I sang to each hymn.

Lastly, I added the opening melody of each tune, in numbers expressing the degrees of the musical scale.

Here is a sample. I can send a PDF of the whole thing.

I can also send a printable A5 version without the scripture texts--a version
of about 200 pages which is usable conveniently in public

Ro 10:14,15 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
The gift had been in vain.

The precious Saviour,
1Pe 2:4,6  To whom coming, [as unto] a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, [and] precious…  Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
and the power
John 16.13,14  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
That makes Him precious too.
