Love's remembrance, Lord, Thou seekest
Lu 22.19 this do in remembrance of me
From Thine own assembled thus;
Acts 20.7 when the disciples came together to break bread
In the bread we break Thou speakest
1Cor 11.24 this is my body, which is broken for you
Of Thy body giv'n for us:
Lu 22.19 This is my body which is given for you

Holy vessel of God's pleasure
Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath subjected [him] to suffering. When thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see a seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.
In His service day by day;
Isa 50.4 he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned
Nothing but His will Thy measure
John 8.29 the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him
All along that suffering way.
Heb 5.7 in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears

Lord, we drink the cup of blessing,
1Cor 10.16 The cup of blessing which we bless
The communion of Thy blood,
1Cor 10.16 the communion of the blood of Christ
Thus as one our love confessing
Eph 6.24 them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity
For Thyself, blest Son of God.
1John 4.19 We love him, because he first loved us

Hail! Thou once despised Jesus
Isa 53.3 He is despised and rejected of men
Praises loudly now we sing;
Ps 51.14 my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness
Thou didst suffer Lord, to save us,
1Peter 3.18 Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God
Nigh to God Thine own to bring.
Eph 2:13 but now in Christ Jesus ye who once were afar off are become nigh by the blood of the Christ.
Hail! once lowly Man of sorrows,
Isa 53.3 a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief
Bearer of our grief and shame;
Isa 53.4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows
Graced in Thee by God's own favour,
Rom 5.1,2 our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand
Life we have through Thy blest Name.
John 20.31 that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name
2
Jesus, hail! enthroned in glory,
1Ti 3:16 God has been manifested in flesh, has been justified in [the] Spirit, has appeared to angels, has been preached among [the] nations, has been believed on in [the] world, has been received up in glory.
There in majesty divine,
Heb 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken [this is] the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
There in heav'n our hearts accord Thee
2Peter 3.18 To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Every honour that is Thine;
John 5.23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father..
Now for us in patience waiting,
Rev 1.9 the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ
With Thy loved ones all to share:
John 10.16 I have other sheep which are not of this fold: those also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one flock, one shepherd
We that joy anticipating
Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Till in glory we appear.
Col 4.3 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory
3
Soon we shall, as come to glory,
Heb 2:10 in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Thy transcendent grace relate,
Eph 2:7 that he might display in the coming ages the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus.
Gladly sing th' amazing story
Re 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood
Of Thy dying love so great.
Re 1:5 from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
In that blessed contemplation
Ps 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD,

We for evermore shall dwell,
Ps 23.6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Praise with deepest adoration
Ps 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Love that none below can tell.
Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

1
Father, Thy love our portion is
John 16.27 the Father himself loveth you
As sons, like Christ, with Thee;
Rom 8.29 conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren
O who can tell of love like this,
1John 3.1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God
So sovereign,
De 7.7, 8 Not because ye were more in number than all the peoples, hath Jehovah been attached to you and chosen you, for ye are the fewest of all the peoples; but because Jehovah loved you,
full and free?
De 10:15 Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, [even] you above all people, as [it is] this day.
2
His Father Thou, and ours through grace,
John 20.17 my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
We taste the same delight;
John 17.13 these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves
Blest in the brightness of Thy face,
Ps 89.15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance
In heav'n's unclouded light.
2Sam 23.4 he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds
3
Unchanging glory fills the place
2Tim 2.10 the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory
Where Jesus dwells on high,
Acts 3.20.21 Jesus Christ... Whom the heaven must receive
But brighter joy our spirits trace
Ps 16:11 Thou wilt make known to me the path of life: thy countenance is fulness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.
With Him, for ever nigh!
1Thess 4.17 so shall we ever be with the Lord
4
Eternal ages shall declare
Eph 2.7 That in the ages to come he might shew
The riches of Thy grace,
Eph 2.7 the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us
To those who with Thy Son shall share
John 17.24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am
A son's eternal place.
John 8.35 the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the son abideth ever
5
Father, Thy love, the source of all,
Romans 11.36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen
Sweeter than all it gives,
Ps. 63.3 thy lovingkindness is better than life
Shines on us now without recall,
Isa 54.10 the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
And lasts while Jesus lives.
Eph 1.6 he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
6
We joy in Thee, Thy holy love
Rom 5.11 we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ
Our endless portion is-
Jer 31:3 Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
Like Thine own Son, with Him above,
Rom 8.29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son
In brightest heav'nly bliss.
Zep 3:14 Exult, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; rejoice and be glad with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem:
